I wish I wrote more about Zamboanga when I visited this city summer of 2006. Now I can barely remember the places we went and the people who hosted us (such a shame I am not in contact with them anymore). ironwulf: Zamboanga:Yakan people and their weaving

When I last visited Zamboanga en route to Tawi-Tawi, I had a chance again to visit the Yakan Village in Upper Calarian, Zamboanga. The village is located just across the popular La Vista del Mar resort which can be reached by a jeep or a tricycle around 30-45 minutes from the city center of Zamboanga. Ivan About Town: Zamboanga City's colorful heritage

One thing I get to enjoy attending all these out-of-town conferences is that I get to explore the place after. So before flying back to Manila, we made sure to visit (revisit in some cases) the different cultural attractions of Zamboanga City. one of the 3 malls in zamboanga, this opened sometime in 2007... the only place in zambo where you can find basement parking. :D

on our way home last tuesday(Nov3), we saw men installing the christmas lanterns on streetlights along Nunez Extension (directly in front of Ciudad Medical Zamboanga)...

well... Christmas is less than 50 days away! :D
